About Me
My Creative Journey
My creative journey started when I took Higher Nitec in Visual Merchandising, which was the first time I really understood how design can shape the way people feel and react. Learning about store layouts, colours and visual storytelling opened my eyes to how intentional design can be. It made me curious about the bigger world of media and how visuals can influence audiences. When I continued my studies in the Diploma in Media Production and Design, everything started to come together. I got to try real projects, build brand concepts and experiment with different ways of communicating ideas. Every module pushed me to think creatively while also considering the purpose behind what I create. These experiences helped me grow into someone who values strong visuals, clear storytelling and the impact of design on people.
Where I am Now
During my diploma, I had the chance to explore social media marketing, branding and studio production, and it really helped me discover the type of creative work I enjoy. I learned how to plan and produce content, build visual identities and design layouts that work well for different audiences. Being in the studio also gave me hands-on experience with directing, shooting and understanding how visuals come to life. My background in visual merchandising naturally blends into this, especially when it comes to creating visuals that attract and guide viewers. Through these projects, I’ve become more confident in my creative style and more aware of how design decisions can influence engagement. As I prepare to begin my internship journey, I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned into roles that involve social media marketing or studio production, where I can keep creating meaningful and engaging content
